8:00 am - Start the Day With Some Coffee 

Visit the Esperanza’s Bakery and Cafe for a spot of coffee and some early breakfast. The first meal of the day is spicy and generous in proportion. Don’t miss out on campanchanahs which is a type of sweet bread that is crunchy. Enjoy the perfect breakfast at this bakery which opens at 6:30 am and closes at 5:30 pm. 9:00 am - Take a Refreshing Walk in Sundance Square

Work off the breakfast through a brisk and relaxing walk in this 14 block square located near main and 3rd street. With the best eateries, pubs, galleries s and colorful architecture, Sundance Square is an enjoyable place to be.

10:00 am - Visit the National Cowgirl Museum

Get cracking on soaking in the Western atmosphere at National Cowgirls Museum. This amazing museum is the place to go if you want to brush up on the rodeo and the Western world.  For adults, the entry fee is $10 while it is $8 for children. This museum is open from 10 in the morning to 5 pm in the evenings from Tuesday to Saturday and noon to 5pm on Sundays. From costumes embedded with rhinestones to interesting film footage, there are amazing ride to enjoy.

11:00 am - Educational Experience at Museum of Science and History

This is a museum filled with fossils, dinosaurs and amazing activities as well as tour guides. You can understand the various aspects of cowboy culture and even check out the associated planetarium and IMAX theater. Price of admission is $14 for adults and $10 for children. Opening hours are from 10 am to 5 pm.

12:00 pm Get Ready to Enjoy Learning about Famous Cowboys

High noon is a time for fun and adventure as you take in the sights at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. Adults can enter for a fee of S5 while children are admitted for $3. The hall remains open from 10 am to 6 pm Mondays to Thursday and till 7 pm on Friday and Saturday as well as noon to 5 pm on Sundays. The hall has a booth of medals and rare film footage.

1:00 pm - Get a Bite to Eat 

If you are fond of Italian food, Nonna Tata is the place to go. This restaurant is open from 11 am to 3 pm for lunch from Tuesdays to Fridays.  Lunch at this unpretentious restaurant costs only $9 to 12 and dinner can be between $13 to 23.

2:00 pm is the Time to Enjoy Custard

Curly’s Frozen Custard is known throughout Fort Worth for being one of the best ice cream parlours and gelataria in Fort Worth. This custard joint is located in Camp Bowie Boulevard.  The prices start from $2 and opening hours are from 11 am to 9 pm. Creamy custard with mix ins that tempt you are the ideal way to spend a hot afternoon.

3:00 pm is when Billy Bob’s Texas, the Awesome Honky Tonk Comes Alive

Billy Bob’s Texas is where the night is still young especially in the afternoon. This amazing honky-tonk is located at Rodeo Plaza and it has the most amazing games and drinks. Price is anywhere between $2 to $5 for cover charge from Sunday to Thursday and varies on weekends. Opening hours are from 11 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon and from noon to 2 am on Sundays. This is the largest honky-tonk in the world and it has a barn with prize cattle during the Fort Worth show for stocks.

4:00 pm is Reserved for the Usual Bar

Crafts and cocktails- the Usual Bar is anything but usual as far as the drinks are concerned. Cool drinks like Jimador’s Revenge are the trend here and you too can opt for one of the signature cocktails here. Opening hours are from 4pm to 2am.

5:00 pm is When the Scat Jazz Lounge Comes to Life

Placed within a downtown alley, this jazz spot is wonderful with the glamour that can sweep you off your feet. Scat Jazz Lounge is where the fun begins at 5:00 pm and ends at 2 am Tuesdays to Fridays and from 7 pm to 1 am on Sundays.

Cowtown Coliseum Rodeo is where you get to see a rodeo on weened nights 365 days of the year. While children are admitted for a fee of $10, the charge is $15 for adults. For the Wild West Show, the charge for adults is $12 and for children is $8

9:00 pm - Time for a Delicious Dinner at Lonesome Doves

The Lonesome Doves Western Bistro is a well known Western joint created by Tim Love and it is the epitome of the classic Wild West. It has an amazing wine list and a lunch special for $9. Dinner can cost anywhere from $20 to $40 and the restaurant is the perfect spot for a delicious dinner.
